What was I Scared of? - Dr. Seuss App Reviews

I thought it was a little weird and the runes arent very clever, but its fun for the kids. They have lots of questions about how this or that could be from this book though.

Everyone should own a Dr Suess book and this one is a classic. My son and I love sit and read this one often. Its great reading or listening.

My five year old and I LOVE this story and this app! Its entertaining, interesting and educational (for beginning readers). Also has a lovely lesson about our silly fears. Visually pleasing illustrations too.

I like that kids can read at their own pace or have the story read to them automatically.

Story is fine but when you are reading by yourself (not having it read to you) it insists on interrupting you to randomly announce things which completely breaks the rhythm. There is no way to turn it off.

My kids love this story and love that they can read it themselves or have it read to them!!

I already bought cat in the hat, green eggs, places, one fish two fish and was on the fence for this one during the $1 sale. I looked at reviews and everyone said this was their favorite growing up and kids love it so I bit. I must say out all the apps I purchased this is my least favorite- and one fish two fish was not enjoyable but this is worse. Think the narrator is the same which I really disliked. The other narrators really get into the story and sell it. This narrator kind of just reads it. I knew this was shorter than the other books but it seems like it is about 1/4 instead of the expected 1/2 of the others. It is a Dr. seuss book but somehow the rhyming isnt as present nor the whimsical factor. People said the music is scary. I found it distractingly too loud. Will need to test this on a kid next.

This is one of my sons favorite stories! We love having it so assessable! Great book!

Cant wait to share with my grandkids. Just right for short little attention spans, and my grandchildren as well, ha ha.
